Description

Graham Farish’s model is highly detailed and is a fine recreation of this distinctive vehicle, from the low profile to the end doors which were crucial for loading and unloading cars – these are faithfully reproduced, including hinges, door locking mechanisms and even the safety chains are reproduced in miniature. The double doors on each side are also neatly represented, complete with hinges, handles and handrails, along with the door buffers on the doors and adjacent body panels, and each window opening is finished with flush glazing. Ventilators and rain strips are remoulded on the roof, while under the solebar a full complement of braking equipment and ancillary equipment, including the battery boxes and dynamo, are present and correct. The axle boxes are finely detailed, with metal wheelsets fitted and metal buffers also used. The paintwork is crisp and faithful to the original, extending beyond the base paintwork to the numbering and lettering, all reproduced using accurate fonts and colours.
