Description

This LED illuminant replaces conventional incandescent bulbs with a BA5S mating thread (such as M. 600150), which are used extensively in the model building sector.

Just replace it with the bulb and you’re done! The topic of heat generation is very important, especially in narrow houses or wagons. The LED bulbs produce almost no waste heat and the power consumption is only one tenth as high as with conventional incandescent bulbs. The lifetime is also great
longer, because the LED bulbs have a life expectancy of about 100,000 hours.

Important!
All of our LED bulbs have a small board in the socket installed, on which there is a real bridge rectifier with a sufficiently dimensioned LED resistor.
Thus, the LED is suitable for DC and AC voltage, works flicker-free and lights up even with reverse polarity (important for the analog DC operation, otherwise the locomotive is always dark in one direction).
