C4618FSir Jack Brabhams second Bathurst appearance saw him team up with his son in an XC Falcon. Qualifying 9th with a strong 2m26.9s lap, they outpaced their teammates Goss/Pescarolo. The race was intense, and despite a promising Top 5 position, rocker issues led to a lengthy pit stop. They finished 18th overall (9th in Class A), making them the fourth Falcon to complete the race. The 1977 Bathurst is best remembered for the iconic 1-2 “Form Finish” of the Moffat Ford Dealers team.
